You know, this is really a good poem. This is a subtle concept to convey in a poem, or in any way, and this really works, communicates clearly and sounds real, not like a performance. Again, I know I've said it before, but sincerity is a strength of yours. Real sincerity. One can be sincere and still be witty, sharp and honest, and being sincere includes expressing emotions, motivations like these. Good poem Rambler.
