I'll Rip Out Your Eyes And Piss On Your Brain
Trading Places was on tonight. That's my favorite line. But something about this movie has always nagged at me a little. As soon as Valentine (Eddie Murphy) figures out what the Dukes are doing and decides to team up with Winthorpe (Aykroyd) for revenge, he immediately starts talking street again. What was that about?

What a great movie. Seeing Winthorpe stealing the salmon at the Christmas party in his filthy crusty Santa costume was hilariously sad. The story of a man’s rise and fall is always profound even when it’s hilarious.
A classic movie, hands down. I count among my closest friends the ones who can either pick up (or better yet, give) a signature (or, frankly, any other), line from that film.
Best part about this movie is the music . . . just try to listen to it and not think of the Christmas season. Just try . . . .
"It ain't cool to be no jive turkey, so close to Thanksgiving."
I reckon that was the swan song for the term, 'jive turkey.'
A Google search appears to confim: your assessment of the use of the term "jive turkey" may be correct!"
(that felt so much like Carmen San Diego . . . whooo, that was scary!)
